Dominican classics
Plantain, sofrito, slow stews and the mofongo that put us in the record books.

Fresh seafood, grilled Angus steaks and true Dominican cooking in Santiago de los Caballeros, served with the warmth of a Dominican home.
“At Amigos we don't just serve food, we serve memories.”
Amigos Seafood & Steak House
Amigos was born with a simple idea: to make Santiago feel like the capital of Dominican gastronomy. Every plate brings together three things we love: the fire of the grill, the freshness of the sea and the seasoning of our grandmothers.
This is where Santiago celebrates birthdays, graduations and anniversaries, closes deals and brings the whole family together. Like a friend's house, our doors are open every day.
Dominican tradition, the freshness of the sea and the craft of the grill, in perfect balance.

Our signature: Angus churrasco over local langoustine on mofongo, with béchamel sauce.

Fresh Angus cut, grilled and served with chimichurri.

Tender and juicy, with Patagonian-style chimichurri.

Mashed plantain with shrimp and garlic — the dish behind our Guinness record.

Juicy stewed goat in crispy plantain baskets.

Artisan bread, guacamole and grilled shrimp.
In Santiago's Central Park, hundreds of people watched our team prepare a 556 kg (1,226.8 lb) mofongo. Guinness World Records certified it on the spot, and Amigos became the first Dominican restaurant to hold a Guinness World Record.
